lsst.pex.config.config.FieldValidationError in tutorial

(Paul Leyland) #1

The tutorial works well until the command forcedPhotCoadd.py DATA --rerun coaddPhot:coaddForcedPhot --id filter=HSC-R and then fails with

Not sure what to do about this one. It appears similar but not identical to a couple of bug reports back in Jul 18 but they’ve been fixed.

(Added in edit: needed to ‘setup meas_extensions_convolved’. Perhaps this could be added to the tutorial instructions.

(Paul Price) #2

Are you not doing setup lsst_distrib?

(Paul Leyland) #3

I thought so. I’m using the same shell for all the tutorials in turn and I’m pretty sure that the setup was doen correctly at the start. However, the process has been spread over more than two days and I’m no longer certain. I’ll re-run the tutorial from scratch and report back.

(Paul Leyland) #4

Mea culpa. Re-ran from stage4 onwards and everything went smoothly.
My apologies for the false alarm.
