Commissioning test fields for galactic cases

This is a thread to enable discussions of possible fields for LSST commissioning activities.

I assume SMWLV has some interest in fields that crowded, reddened, have clusters, etc as early tests of the LSST system.

Suggestions to the LSST Project commissioning team can be made by any science collaboration with a google form distributed by email.

I would like to recommend the MACHO/OGLE/MOA microlensing bulge field as well as the Magellanic Clouds. Few fields have been observed more and they will make excellent stressors for the difference imaging pipeline.
