High-level Summary Community Interactions, Meetings and Workshops A good DM/RPF Joint technical and all hands meeting was held at SLAC Feb 6-8 - though mainly operations focused some construction team members also attended. Several DM staff attended the DESC meeting at the end of February. Technical Progress Two Factor Authentication (2FA) was enabled on the summit VPN - the old VPN will remain in place until March to allow time for everyone to switch over/setup. A draft update of the Consolidated Database document (DMTN-227) incorporating feedback from that JTM was written. DM-SST issued update to DMTN-065 incorporating processing non-standard visit images from special programs. The tracklet clustering algorithm for the solar system pipeline was switched from DBSCAN to a KD tree, yielding more pure results in significantly less time. The astrometric fitting task now may be run in “global mode,” which uses all available visits across the survey to produce one global solution, in addition to the prior method of independent solutions per tract. We formally met milestone LDM-503-EFDb. A new service for staff, Times Square, was released; although funded by Operations, we anticipate this will be very useful in Construction commissioning activities. New feature added to allocateNodes command to automatically allocate HTCondor nodes based on requested job size, rather than allocating nodes first and then submitting jobs. This will be integrated into Batch Production Service next. For the Operations Rehearsal #3 header playback was implemented and the pipelines for LSSTComCamSim were built for the first of three precursor DRP iterations.
