High-level Summary
Community Interactions, Meetings and Workshops
DM scientist Attended LSST@EU7 as a member of the SOC and presented on DP1, Early Science, the RSP and data access services, and co-chaired a tutorial session. DM Scientist gave an invited presentation in Rubin Observatory at Queen’s University Belfast.
Technical Progress
Prompt Processing sent the first live alerts from LSSTCam to the alert brokers during commissioning science observations. The cosmic ray detection and removal task was configured for LSSTCam, and significantly reduced the number of false detections on cosmic rays.
All remaining risks were retired as DM completed transition to operations.
LDM-503-19a: All P1a DM requirements verified completed. 10 outstanding P1a will be completed as part of LDM-503-19: All 1a,1b DM requirements verified. The only remaining work in DM then is Qserv table upload which should be complete by December.
