DM Scientist, gave an invited virtual presentation on Rubin status at the annual LSST@Australia workshop
DM PM gave a talk to ALMA DPDA working group on software and data management.
DM Scientist, DM Pipelines Scientist and Commissioning Scientist reviewed with the DESC their concerns on the uniformity of coadds and discussed possible solutions.
Technical Progress
SQR-073 was published describing the design for managing resource congestion in the Rubin Science Platform
v24.0.0 of the LSST Science Pipelines was officially released.
The AP team conducted a sprint to develop tools for assessing Difference Image Analysis objects. The capabilities of the Prompt Processing prototype were expanded to handle hundreds of visits with a full focal plane of CCDs each.
The Pipeline Task, GbdesAstrometricFitTask, implementing the global astrometric fitting algorithm used by the Dark Energy Survey is available in the Science Pipelines as of w_2022_52. This algorithm configurably fits stellar proper motion and parallax while fitting positions.
New glide-in packages for s3df for HTCondor support over Slurm were prepared.
Cycle 28 was supported with upgrades for HeaderService and OODSs on TTS and Summit.
