Technical Progress

Implementation of RFC-921 to incorporate changes for metadetection outputs in the DPDD was completed. Test campaign LVV-P106 planned for Q3 CY2023 with 31 test cases planned focusing on completing P1a verification was reviewed.

A change request (LCR-3543) to modify the baseline requirements to reflect new security needs was submitted.

DM moved to python 3.11 with rubin-env 7.0.0 with Python 3.11 (and 7.0.1) being released.

The Prompt Processing service was extended to support multiple image processing pipelines, and to support fallback pipelines if processing fails. New template images were created for CI testing of the Alert Production pipeline with ap_verify. Crosstalk-correction is now enabled by default for LATISS

v25.0.0 of the LSST Science Pipelines was released. The Global astrometric solution in the DRP pipeline is now tied to the Gaia DR3. Because DR3 has more complete spatial coverage than DR2, this yields a better absolute astrometric solution.

Batch Production Service (BPS) now supports quantum-backed Butler (QBB) with PanDA and DMTN-177 was updated to include comparison of efficiency of QBB.

Several sensors were installed in the summit computer room. For each rack, we are measuring temperature front and back, power consumption (total and by phase), open/closed doors, and presence of water.
