High-Level Summary:
The EPO team is growing! Our Head of EPO has started, we’ve recently hired a Science Writer and Education Specialist, and hiring efforts are underway for our Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position. EPO also participated in the IPS Data to Dome conference and LSST Joint Technical Meeting (JTM) where we were able to collaborate with peers and show off research findings from our recent needs assessment contract. Finally, we contracted with a multimedia crew to visit Cerro Pachón to capture images and video footage of the site for historical archiving in LSST’s upcoming Digital Asset Management solution.
