High-Level Summary:
October activities focused on refreshing or creating EPO documentation required for the November Operations Review, specifically: a full refresh of the EPO Requirements (LSE-89), updates to the DM/EPO Interface (LSE-131), creation of an EPO Design document (LEP-31), researching various Operations staffing models, developing labor and non-labor cost estimates, and providing narratives for the Operations Plan (LPM-181). In addition, some preliminary verification matrix work has also begun in preparation for the January Commissioning Review.
Regarding EPO construction, Sprints have been created in JIRA for documentation review and Digital Asset Management research. Also, cloud and multimedia discussions are underway with various vendors and an RFP has been posted for a User Experience subcontract to evaluate our current EPO design. Finally, Amanda Bauer has been selected as the Head of Education and Public Outreach and will start next March.
