New resources from EPO

Hi everyone!
With the exciting start of LSST and a new sparkly Rubin image now out in the world, EPO would like to share some new resources that you or folks you know might be interested in.

The Rubin Dash, featured at rubinobservatory.org - what’s happening at Rubin? Keep an eye on summit weather conditions and high-level stats about what Rubin accomplished last night.

The Ocean of Stars, the newest wide-field image from Rubin:

New visualizations:

  • See what a week of LSST looks like with a new survey visualization (gallery, youtube)
  • See why we stack images with a new depth visualization (gallery, youtube)

We also have a couple new infographics about LSST: a minimal version (EN, ES) and a more detailed version (EN, ES)

Coming after DP2: updates to the Intro to Rubin slide deck (EN, ES).

As always, we have lots of multimedia available at ls.st/resources. Questions? We’re available at #epo-project-questions on the Rubin slack or #epo on the LSST-DA slack!
