Rubin Schedule Viewer past data not displaying

Previously the Rubin Schedule Viewer (Rubin Schedule Viewer) was able to display both upcoming scheduled observations as well as previously completed or scheduled observations. For the past few days I have not been able to access schedule data prior to the current date. Where the table is normally loaded it just displays “No data loaded”. Is this a known issue or an intended change to the database? Thank you!

Hi @aordog, thanks for posting your question! Could you share what inputs you are using? Also, if you don’t mind, could you share your use case for accessing schedule data prior to the current date?

Hi @gfonsecaalvarez . Thanks for your reply! Here are two screenshots of my inputs and resulting outputs. 2026-04-30 produces a table of scheduled observations for today, while 2026-04-13 produces no data. I checked that observations were actually completed on that night by looking at the nightly summary here: nightsum_2026-04-13.

My use case is for a survey progress dashboard I’m building, that will allow users to monitor how many observations have been completed for a particular set of targets they might want to track. Until early this week I have been using the schedule viewer (accessed programmatically) to query the database of completed visits. This was recommended as a temporary solution until the Prompt Products Database becomes available.

@aordog Thanks so much for providing screenshots and your use case.

I also was unable retrieve data for past dates. I’ve created an internal work ticket (SP-3136) for Rubin staff to follow-up with this issue and we’ll report back within a few weeks.
