Just now (Dec. 18), I wanted to post that the next two camera visualization meetings are cancelled, because SLAC will be closed, and other people will be unavailable as well. Cancelling the 12/23 meeting worked fine. However, when trying to create the second topic (canceling the 12/30 meeting), I received this complaint:
- “Body is too similar to what you recently posted”
and it wouldn’t let me create the topic. It is true that the two topics had the same body namely “-- CANCELLED --”, but, IMHO, that is a succinct way to communicate the message. The Community nannies should not be telling me how to compose my messages.
I FIND THIS POLICY (AND SIMILAR ONES) TO BE VERY ANNOYING !!
