U-band and/or y-band science with visual appeal?

Hi all,

Your education and public outreach team is looking for examples of science you’re doing using the u-band or y-band so we can help the public understand why LSST has these filters in its suite!

We are thinking about showing cutouts of an object in all the filters, or comparing two objects in all the filters to show if something is brighter, fainter, bigger, smaller, etc. and why the u-band or y-band is key for giving us the scientific insight we need.

Any ideas are most welcome, and you get bigger kudos if you have example images

Thanks,
amanda & the EPO team
