Zooniverse project

Hi,
I’m citizen scientist, join in Zooniverse, and translate some Zooniverse project to my native language.

Zooniverse is cooperating with LSST/VRO, but I am only aware of the LSST-Zoo test project that is currently under construction.

Since Zooniverse is officially cooperating, will the project regarding LSST be launched in full from the beginning without beta testing or review?
If so, and if there is a project under construction that I am unaware of, I would like to get involved as a translator, as soon as LSST’s Zooniverse project begins, LSST and many agencies will be publicizing the project extensively. At that point, I would like to have the project already multilingual.

Translating a Zooniverse project may sound complicated, but Zooniverse makes it easy to multilingualize a project by providing a systematic set of functions from the project management page for replacing text in the project with other languages.

Thanks for your interest! Currently there are no active Rubin projects as we are awaiting the first data to be released to the science community. With Data Preview 1 being released next week, we will have the first couple projects in the coming weeks.
We anticipate many projects from Rubin on Zooniverse, given the diverse science areas that the LSST Survey will cover. Our Rubin Citsci team is helping the community of scientists make many projects - not just one big one! :slight_smile:
We are interested in translation support, though it will be complex given the number and variety of projects. If you want to contact cscience@lsst.org, we can chat further!
