Hi everyone,
I am currently using the SLIDE tool (GitHub - yizedong/SLIDE · GitHub) to look for transients in the EDP2 data from old DECam templates. I have noticed in some coadded images with bright host galaxies there are strange streaks/Nan values:
that are in the science image and subsequently in the image subtraction. This may be some issue with background removal, but I wasn’t sure. I wanted to ask if anyone has perhaps noticed this before, or if this can be corrected/fixed in some straightforward way.
