Hi all,
my RSP account is linked to my previous institution, Stony Brook University, and I no longer have access to that email account. I also have not linked my RSP account to my personal identities. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could change the email associated with my RSP account to my Stanford University email: nkhadka@stanford.edu. It would be great if I can link my github account with it. my github username is nkhadka21.
Hi Narayan – I have inquired with relevant Rubin staff to seek their assistance with this situation, and anticipate there will be an update soon once they’ve responded. Thanks very much.
Hi @nkhadka , can you try setting up a fresh account using your new institutional email? Once that’s active, you should add an additional identity to help with future access issues.
@nkhadka, RSP admin here, checking in because this topic remains unsolved.
I can see in the RSP system that you still only have one account, and it is Active, but the only identity provider is Stony Brook University. As you no longer have access to that identity, in order to regain access to the RSP you need to create a new account, using an identity provider do do have access to (preferably an institutional identity). Then let us know, because we can transfer the contents of your old home directory to your new one, if you want. And after your new account is set up, you can link a personal identity so that you don’t lose access again.
