I am now also having another issue where all my files have been removed, but the error still comes up. My home directory has now been replaced with /deleted-sundays/kb. Any suggestions?
Hi @Kabelo – thanks for getting in touch about this. I’ve inquired with the RSP team and will hopefully have more info from them soon. If you’re able to reach the RSP terminal and run the quota -s command there, that should help determine/confirm whether or not you’re still over the quota. Thanks again.
The RSP team noticed that there’s a directory named software/simple_adl within your home space that’s using up ~399 GB (more specifically v6_regions and v7_regions within that directory are using a lot of disk space). The home space quota is 35 GB, so you’re currently in excess of that. Removing that simple_adl directory alone would bring you within the home directory disk space quota. The behavior you mention about /deleted-sundays/kb makes sense given that your home directory is over quota. Note that /deleted-sundays is a temporary scratch space whose contents get purged on a weekly basis. Despite being over quota in your home dir, it’s still possible to start a terminal within RSP and work on deleting contents within your home dir. Thanks again…
