Euclid Q1 release

Hi, I’m preparing to work with an undergrad on some blending-related thing, and will like to compare Rubin DP1 images with Euclid Q1 images. We are setting the student up for accessing the Rubin data from the public RSP interface. Is it possible to have a copy of the Euclid Q1 images/catalogs in e.g. /rubin/shared/data or does this already exist somewhere?

[there is a copy on USDF at /sdf/data/rubin/cosmicdata/euclid/ so it would mostly require copying that data to the right place]

Thanks so much!

Hi Chiway

Unfortunately we are not able to publicly host the Euclid Q1 data on the RSP. Euclid Q1 at the USDF is for internal use to support the validation of Rubin data processing. Euclid Q1 data is public and hosted at ESA’s Datalabs. It can be accessed using IVOA protocols from your personal account on the RSP as described here. Euclid Q1 is also available at IPAC, where the full data set can be accessed at the Euclid NASA Science Center at IPAC in the IRSA archive.
