We are happy to announce the availability of a service for getting both stable and weekly releases of the LSST science pipelines (a.k.a. the stack) delivered to your computer without you needing to take care of installing or updating those releases.
Since a few years now, we have been experimenting with a mechanism for making available the LSST software to both individual scientists’ personal computers and compute nodes in a computing center such as CC-IN2P3. The experience we have got in this process has been very useful and the feedback we have got from users have been extremely positive, so we decided to consolidate this service and making it more widely available to the LSST community.
