I’m getting NaN’s when I calculate some DP0.2 object catalog magnitudes because a few of the *_cModelFlux values are negative for both stars and galaxies. Is the explanation for negative fluxes in this 5+ year old thread? I’ve gone through it, but I’m still not sure if it’s related. I can provide code if necessary - thanks!
If you’re looking at forced photometry, you’ll frequently get negative fluxes when there is more noise than flux at the position of a source (usually in a band other than the detection band).
