Hi Rubin/LSST folks! I’m working with our social media colleagues at NOIRLab and AURA in Chile on a video campaign for International Women in STEM Day on February 11, and we need your contributions!
To participate, send me a message (on slack or via email) with a short ~5-second video of yourself answering the prompt: What advice would you give to your younger “self” about entering a career in STEM (This should be a short sentence, for example: Create and take advantage of opportunities that spark passion, Believe in yourself, Never settle for a NO.).
A couple notes:
- Please record a portrait-style / vertical video, NOT a landscape video
- You can do English or Spanish, or both!
- Contributions from non-binary folks welcomed too
