I have initiated an account request and received a verification code through my University email. It looks like others have encountered this issue, but after logging in through my institution without issue, the link under “Self sign up for approval” doesn’t load at all regardless of browser or network connection. It seemed others had to get their petition approved, is this what is causing issues and can I get approval?
Hi @addie, I wanted to check if you are still experiencing this issue.
To clarify, do you mean you are unable to complete step 5 in the sign-up process outlined here: Getting an account on the RSP — Rubin Science Platform? If you’ve made it to the point of making a username (step 7) then it goes over for account approval, which is done by a person and does take a little bit of time.
Thanks for your response! I was stuck on step 5, but I was approved after this post so that may have been the issue and it has been resolved.
