LINCC Tech Talk on September 11 @ 10am PT: LINCC Frameworks in Year 3

Dear all,

I hope you will join us for the September LINCC Tech Talk session that will take place on Thursday, September 11, at 10h PT = 13h ET = 13h CLT = 19h CET on Zoom (https://ls.st/lincc-talks ). We will hear about highlights and updates from the LINCC Frameworks Team, presented by Jeremy Kubica.

LINCC Frameworks in Year 3
The LINCC Frameworks Team is a multidisciplinary team whose goal is to enable scientists by developing scalable and productionised software/algorithms in collaboration with broader Rubin community. In this tech talk we reintroduce the team and provide an update on its projects. We start with a quick overview of the team, its mission, and its areas of focus. We then look at the past three years of software projects and describe their current status. We talk about how the software was applied to in both commissioning and to DP1 data. Finally, we describe how researchers can get involved, including reviewing the incubator program.

LINCC Tech Talks are held on the second Thursday of every month. Events are also advertised at our web page and also provided in calendar form ; and the #lincc-tech-talks LSSTC Slack channel is always available for discussions before, during, and after the talks.
