Lost access to RSP account

Hello,

After changing institutions (from Rutgers to Lehigh University), I have lost access to my RSP account.
I was hoping I could connect my ORCID acoount with my precious RSP account. Would that be possible?

Hi @Somayeh_K , thanks for reporting this and apologies for the inconvenience. I’ll bring this to the attention of the RSP tech team – it should be possible, yes.

Hi @Somayeh_K, here are the steps to get you back up and running.

  1. Visit ls.st/rsp-signup and restart the process to get a new account with a new identity provider (e.g., Lehigh University), then report back here.
  2. I will approve your new account, and then request our RSP technical team move your old home directory to your new account.
  3. At your earliest convenience, link a secondary identity to your new account, such as ORCID or GitHub.

Is there something else I should do?

Hi @Somayeh_K , I’m sorry this post was never responded to. That message can happen when your account is in pending status, awaiting authorization (i.e., step 8 of the instructions, which can take a few days).

But, I can see that you have an active RSP account now, so I’m going to mark this topic as solved.
