Users of the Lasair broker are interested in what is a new object. Therefore we include the minimum MJD (aka TAI) as a feature of the object. However, for scalability, all our features are computed only on what comes with the alert โ i.e. a year of lightcurve โ so the minTai can never be older than a year ago. When the user looks at the entire lightcurve, they get confused, because it is longer than a year.
So I would like to request that the real minTai be included with the diaObjectschema. The time that object was first detected.
