Moving Institutions, Keeping DP0 Notebooks


I am moving institutions within California and will soon no longer have access to the email I currently use to sign in to DP0. I am planning on continuing to do research with DP0 and would like to keep my notebooks. What’s the best way for me to be able to keep working with my DP0 notebooks? I was wondering if I created an ORCiD if my notebooks from my old account could be transferred to the new one.

You can keep the account you have and add an additional identity for authentication. There are instructions for how to do that at this link. Once you set up your new institution as an identity provider, you’ll be able to use that when you log in. (You were also correct that you could use ORCID or github as an identity provider, but if you’re at a higher ed institution it makes sense to use that.)
