No Response about RSP Account verification.

Hi all,

I applied a week ago for my Rubin Science Platform account, so that I could complete the DP0.3 tutorials from the SSSC website. I have Rubin data rights, as I am completing a PhD which uses data from the LSST.

I’m yet to hear back, and I’m wondering if this is a normal wait time or if I’ve done something wrong. My supervisor told me to post a query here to find out.

Hi Adam-

It looks like your petition was approved on Oct. 2, so you should have received an email on that date – maybe check your spam folder?

Otherwise, since your account has been approved, I would suggest simply trying to log in to the science platform at data.lsst.cloud. (It looks like you used Github as your identity provider, so you’ll want to select that at the login prompt.)

Hi Adam, thanks for posting. From what I can see in our system, your account was approved on Oct 2 and you should be able to login at data.lsst.cloud using GitHub as your identity provider. It sounds like maybe the automatic email to notify you failed to reach you, perhaps. Can you try logging in and confirm if it works, and if not, what error message you get?
