Recreating the LSST Science pipeline tutorial (gen 2) only using Generation 3 command line tasks and the pipetasks

Also, what KTL shared gets me a few more clicks down the path…

I’m not really following what your problem is. I use pydoc all the time to read class documentation and I’ve already stated that with the right caveat included then we could start adding private APIs to the sphinx documentation.

No problem…just questions.
Between you and KTL, my question is answered on the best place to seek out documentation. I’ve reorganized my links and should search documentation better now…
Thank you again for the gesture regarding private API’s. If help() reported these were “internal administrative API’s”, then I’d probably have tried another example…like something on deblending, or such.
again, happy new year.
PS - I hope the Cardinals put the Cowboys in their place this Sunday.

I believe I’ve exhausted my energies in learning how to run selected parts of the pipeline in Jupyter notebooks. Proves I have more to learn…even though I’m “…getting there…”.
I’ve been able to sift through much of the LSST imaging/YouTube content to filter and reduce the imaging terminologies… one part that took a while to absorb.
I’m attaching a macOS Pages ER diagram in case it may be useful to the community. Any critiques are welcome.
My plans are to rewind and restart with latest pipeline release [my current version is from Q3 of 2021].LSST Entity Relationship Diagram.pages (217.1 KB)
