Release of Data Products associated with First Look event

Hello Rubin Experts,

I am very interested in data products associated with the Virgo Cluster LSSTCam images shown as part of the First Look event (i.e. the ones currently available in the Sky Viewer). Is there a plan/expected timeline to release products such as the raw images and source catalogs associated with these First Look images?

Hi Will thanks for your question! There should be an update and more details on the contents of the Data Preview 2 (DP2) dataset soon. That information will be available in the Early Science Program document found at https://rtn-011.lsst.io/

Just to follow up, the timeline for more details on the contents of DP2 is early December.

I specify this because an (unrelated) update to RTN-011 is expected very soon (perhaps today), but it will not contain the details on how much of the sky area covered by Rubin First Look will be able to be released as part of Data Preview 2.
