RRB: Probing Time-Variable Objects in the ECDFS using LSST's DP1

The Extended Chandra Deep Field South (ECDFS) is a widely studied X-ray extragalactic field hosting a rich population of galaxies and active galactic nuclei (AGN) / quasars (QSO).

This DP1 deep drilling field is a prime field candidate to identify time-variable objects such as stars, galaxies, and QSOs.

Using cross-matched observations with NED we obtain the average fractional variability across the different object classes, and then select the most variable object in the ECDFS to investigate its light curve across all six bands.
