Dear Rubin Colleagues,
We’re happy to announce registration for the Rubin Community Workshop 2025 is now open. The full set of events will take place July 28 - August 1, 2025, at the Marriott University Park in Tucson, AZ with all sessions available for virtual participation in a fully hybrid meeting.
2025 is the year in which the first real Rubin data becomes available to the LSST science community, with DP1 hopefully released shortly before the meeting, and the first Alerts available not long after it. It’s the year in the life of the observatory that will most stretch the Rubin staff, as they both commission the system and also prepare for survey operations. It’s proving to be a very challenging year for all of us but have no doubt! We will be ready! This is the year of the start of the survey, the year you have all been waiting for and helped us be prepared for. Come and work with the whole Rubin community in this exciting and unforgettable phase!
There will be observatory updates and opportunities to interact with Rubin staff
Here’s what you can expect:
- Fee: The registration fee for in-person attendance will be US$225. The fee will be reimbursable through your usual conference reimbursement method. There will be no fee for virtual participation but registration is required.
- Meals : No meals will be provided but refreshments will be provided in the coffee breaks.
- Reception: a reception is planned for Tuesday evening.
- 250 max attendees: We will cap in-person participation to 250 attendees so please register early, registration for in-person registration will close on July 4th or earlier if we reach capacity.
- Hotel: Upon successful registration you will receive a confirmation email containing links to book your hotel room, the room block closes on 7th July.
- Sessions, talks & posters : use the form to submit for a talk/poster or a session .
Unless you already have Rubin login credentials (e.g for JIRA) you will need to create an account. Once your account is approved you will be able to register for virtual and in-person participation.

Nos complace anunciar que la inscripción para el Taller Comunitario Rubin 2025 ya está abierta. Los eventos se llevarán a cabo del 28 de julio al 1 de agosto de 2025 en el Marriott University Park de Tucson, Arizona, con todas las sesiones disponibles para participación virtual.

- Sesiones, charlas y pósteres : utilice el formulario para solicitar una charla, un póster o una sesión.
A menos que ya tenga credenciales de inicio de sesión de Rubin (por ejemplo, para JIRA), deberá crear una cuenta. Una vez aprobada su cuenta, podrá registrarse para la participación virtual y presencia…
