Template image units in DP1 and first alerts

Hi,

From RTN-011 table 1 I get that DP1 will include both “DRP Processed Visit Images and Source Catalogs” and “DRP Difference Images and DIA Catalogs”. Will it include template images as well? If this is the case, will they be scaled/convolved to each PVI, or instead available as a single image per sky region?

Similarly, will the template cutout that comes in alerts be scaled/convolved to the corresponding PVI image?

Hi Alejandra, the first part I can answer: yes, DP1 will include template coadd images, no they will not be scaled/convolved to every individual visit image that the were subtracted from, and yes they will be available as a single image per sky region (per patch).

I’m not 100% sure of the answer for the alert packet – I’ll look into it and in the meantime, anyone else who knows for sure, please chime in.
