Hi all,
Happy to share that over the past week we submitted to the MPC some 387,117 observations of 1,765 known asteroids from the Rubin First Look M49 field.
They’ve all been accepted by the MPC and can be accessed through their web forms. You can also pick them up in bulk at Vera C. Rubin Observatory Observations Submitted to the Minor Planet Center (special thanks to the volunteers at the B612 Asteroid Institute and the SSSC).
Below are a few plots illustrating the high-level properties of these submissions:
Between DP1 and subsequent submissions, some 733,176 observations of 3,967 distinct objects have been released so far. Happy sciencing!
