We are happy to announce the release of a new DP0 tutorial, one which illustrates use of the Rubin Science Platform (RSP) API aspect via the TOPCAT Virtual Observatory interactive graphical tool . This new tutorial, called “01. API TOPCAT Bright Stars Color-Magnitude Diagram Tutorial (beginner)” makes use of TOPCAT to search for bright stars in a small region of sky and create a color-magnitude diagram.
