Observing Opportunities via Rubin In-Kind Program in NOIRLab Semester 2027A Call for Proposals

The NOIRLab Semester 2027A Call for Proposals includes several observing opportunities provided through the Rubin In-Kind Program.

Key Information for Proposers:

  • Available Facilities: Time is available across multiple partner facilities made available via Rubin in-kind telescope contributions (such as Subaru, SALT, KMTNet, VST, LBT, and the Milanković Telescope).
  • Long-Term Status Option: Principal Investigators (PIs) are now welcome to propose for long-term status (for up to 3 semesters) for proposals including Rubin in-kind contributed facilities, provided the core science goals require multi-semester allocations.
  • Proposal Deadline: September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST).
