Dear Rubin Colleagues,
We’re happy to announce that registration for the Rubin Community Workshop 2026 is now open. The full set of events will take place July 27 - 31, 2026, at SLAC in Menlo Park, CA, with all sessions available for virtual participation in a fully hybrid meeting. Attention: unlike previous years, the agenda will run from Monday morning through Friday afternoon for a full 5 days, rather than 4.5.

Connect with Rubin’s Early Science Program: The Rubin Community Workshop focuses on supporting the community in engaging with LSST science, and July 2026 will be a special time for the Early Science Program. Data Preview 1 has been released. LSSTCam has been installed. Alerts are streaming to brokers. Moving objects are available via the MPC. The 10-year LSST will officially be underway. Serving Prompt Products and the release of Data Preview 2 will have either just happened or will be on the near horizon. Come work with the entire Rubin community during this exciting and unforgettable phase!
Contribute to the RCW: Submit an abstract for a contributed talk or poster (forms.gle/TdfHGQmqSiFpzaVQ9). Submit your ideas for breakout session topics or volunteer to chair (forms.gle/vUWMJeXYKEqNxvEN6). The deadline is Friday April 24 2026.
