Hi. Could you please describe how the LSST Unique Identifiers (e.g. Object ID) are constructed? It was requested by a journal Reviewer of one DP1 related paper.

Hi there @sgreenstreet, does “identifier for the release may be packed in as well,” in Generating source and object IDs — LSST Science Pipelines mean that it’s not yet clear that a DR will be packed in as well or has that been now decided? Thanks.

Hi @aprajita, the documentation is kept as up-to-date as possible, so I don’t think the answer is known yet. As we get closer to the release of DR1, this information should become available and the documentation will be updated. Thanks for the question.
