Status of the SCOC now that second two year cycle has completed

Hi,

I’m asking this on behalf of my science collaboration.

The current iteration of the SCOC was put in place in early 2023. As stated in its terms of reference, “Membership on this committee will initially be for two years, with possibility of renewal.”

It would be helpful to understand what is the state of the SCOC. Are all members continuing on for a second term? If not is there a proposal for the current SCOC to stay on for an extra year that needs approval from the Rubin Director or the Rubin Science Advisory Committee?

The SCOC meeting summaries for the second half of 2024 do not discuss the 2 years terms finishing at the end of December.

Thanks,
~Meg
