In the Delegate Assembly on Friday March 17, 2023, I introduced myself as a new-ish member to the Community Science Team and presented a walkthrough of the updated version of the tutorial notebook 07a. This notebook demonstrates how to use the DiaObject table to identify type Ia supernovae and then utilizes the ForcedSourceOnDiaObject table to investigate the forced photometry light curves of specific objects of interest. The notebook had been updated to include the analysis from the ForcedSourceOnDiaObject table.
The initial plan for this Delegate Assembly was to walkthrough both notebooks 07a and 07b; however, due to time, only notebook 07a was discussed. The updated notebook 07b will be described in a future Delegate Assembly.
