Unable to find an acceptable version of obs_dss

I’ve been trying to visualize data using firefly. After following this documentation and executing the commando setup obs_dss I get the error Unable to find an acceptable version of obs_dss. I’m using d_2024_12_04 and run the demo correctly. Running eups distrib install obs_dss results in eups distrib: Product obs_dss None not found in any package repository

Hi @SantiagoArroyoL , are you using the Rubin Science Platform (RSP)? That webpage you mentioned was using obs_sdss instead of obs_dss.

My mistake while writing the post. I always get the samresult. I’m not using RSP rather my own installacion of the Science Pipelines.

$ eups distrib install obs_sdss
eups distrib: Product obs_sdss None not found in any package repository

obs_sdss was deprecated on 1. RFC-645 in 2020, and is no longer supported. That IPAC firefly document you linked is many years out of date, and is not an official Rubin doc page. The Science Pipelines Firefly docs should be more up to date, though they do assume you have an existing butler repository with processed data in it.
