About the ALeRCE category

User support with the ALeRCE Alert Broker (alerce.science).

All are welcome to post questions about ALeRCE, a broker designed to process and analyze Rubin alert streams for transient and variable astrophysical sources. Topics may include how to use ALeRCE services such as the Python client, API, TAP service, and Explorer, how to optimize workflows for time-domain science, reporting suspected issues, or any other ALeRCE-related questions.

The Rubin-enabled version of ALeRCE is now publicly available and actively processing alert data. Please note that recent updates to the Rubin alert stream currently limit some system capabilities. We are working closely with the Rubin team to complete end-to-end validation. Users are also welcome to submit suggestions and report bugs in this forum.
