Hello! I was wondering if there was a generic timeline or estimate for transfers (‘Rucio triggers’ or otherwise) of DP2 data to IDACs and US sites once DP2 has been made public at the US DAC.

Hi Nacho, thanks for this question. AFAIK there isn’t a timeline set yet for post-release transfers, as the actual release date of DP2 is not yet set. I’m looking into who is the best US DAC contacts for IDACs though, to find out more, and will report back.

@heather999 I have an estimated size of 55 TB for EDP2. It has not been confirmed by Data Management.
@nsevilla I don’t yet have any specific timeline yet, except to say USDF contacts will be in touch with IDACs about data transfers. I won’t mark this topic yet as solved until you confirm your IDAC has a USDF contact.
